Sorry m8, just looked into it and the rear caliper is unique to the RF600.

Pins are available, part number: 69141-46E01 however the pins are common to many models, including the teapot..

And it just so happens I have a teapot caliper in the garage.

I have a few parts to send out tomoro, if you want them let me know asap so i can stick them in a jiffy bag.

I would have thought the RF9 caliper is the same as the 600 one.

If not you can buy the pins seperate, check the part no here;

And check the price here;

Nope the 600 and 900 calipers are different Ian, and the 900 has 2 different types of caliper too.

Pre 95 its mounted to a plate that slots into the swingarm, post 95 it has an external torque arm.

I sit corrected Neil :lol: .

I see there's 'R' 'S' and 'T' models.

The pins are readily available so no worries there :D .

managed to get the pins out which is great.
i had to split the caliper to remove them (but then i'd already done that when one gave way)
think i'll be stopping at my friendly local bike breakers/store tomorrow on the way home to see what he has in.
this is yet another thing to put right from the previous owner. i thought i'd got them all but i guess not. one piston isn't moving at all right now. so i've got to pop that out tomorrow aswell now. the other side had a pinched dust seal too. no wonder the rear brake didn't seem to do much.(still enough to pass an MOT though) i just dont use it to notice.

Make sure you either put lots of copper slip or aluminium paste in the holes where the pins go or put a 3mm drill hole in the back of the pin hole so you can use a very small drift to knock them out another time.

always use copper slip. but thanks for the tip. may still put a drift hole on the back though. i might even make a set up instead of buying them. that way a can put a screw head in the end to make removing them easier.
