I thought i'd share with you my first RF experience as it still lingers in my mind (sorry if it's a bit dull)

A few years ago a mate of mine was looking at buying an RF600 and saw one advertsided in the Brimingham area. He asked me to go with him to get a second opinion so off we went in the pouring rain to meet this guy at a service station on the M6.

We met the guy and the Yellow RF600 was in mint condition and very nicely priced. As we wanted a proper look over the bike we were invited to follow the seller back to his house a couple of minutes away. We followed him on to the M6 and he pulled off at the next exit. Wanting to show how big and powerful this bike was compared to the GPZ's we both owned at the time he shot off down the slip road and then braked heavily resulting in the front wheel locking, the bike heading down to the roundabout on it's side and the guy we'd only met five minutes ago skating down the tarmac on his backside.

Complete Muppet !
Showing Off = Not Clever & Can Be Very Painful

---------
You know what - my mate bought it from him at a very very reduced price - did a quick repair job and part ex'd it for another bike.

So it all turned out well in the end.

For some reason though I'm always very careful with my RF in the wet :-)
