Fired the RF up for the 1st time since Dec yesterday, quick check of tyres, oil & stuff this morning and out for an inaugural 2009 spin - the bike even got a wash & polish after too... :D

Might have to go to work on it tomorrow now...

Spent a very nice Saturday with the wife'n littlun out for a nice walk and lunch in St Albans so I got out on Sunday... Not on the RF though...She gets a run every day (Mon-Fri) so it was the turn of the Speed Triple... Told the wife "I'll only be an hour or so..." (snigger) 4 hours later!!!

The Triple is such a different ride, Clip-ons so more weight on my wrists and more arch of the back (especially to reduce the wind blast!)... I got back absolutely ker-nackered, but grinning from ear to ear! A fun blat is much more satisfying than the daily commute (of course it is I hear you all mutter under your breath - but it's nice to realise it once in a while... Specially after the winter!)

Back on the RF this morning... Oh what an armchair!

Roll on Ally Pally next week... Next blat on the Triple!

was out 'n' about Mon & Tues afternoons but used the Kat as the RF isn't quite
finished yet.
Nice to be back on 2 wheels after the winter lay-off (I'm a Northern wussie who wraps
his bikes up and puts them away in October). :D

Went out for a wobble on the XJ today, forks are empty of oil now 'cause the seals have gone.

Cornering is, er, interesting  .
