The wife has a Renault Scenic, it's not bad and does the necessary jobs - shopping, days out, airport runs etc. Got some nice gadgets like climate, half leather and twin sunroofs....

....but I like it because in under 2 minutes I can get all the rear seats out and take shed loads of crap down to the local skip! 8-)

Also got a 9 year old Renault Clio as a run-a-round car. Cost naff all to run, tax and insure and I'll use it if the weathers too dodgy to ride in (snow, bad ice etc).

I used to have a lovely Vectra until a 2 years ago. It was a Design Edition, only 1000 made - metallic black with full cream leather, heated seats, climate, mp3 pioneer stereo, elec windows and sunroof, etc, etc.
Had to get rid because my nightshifts went from 3 to 4 nights a week and it was only giving 28mpg and costing a fortune to keep going. Sold the car then got made redundant! Learnt a big lesson there, wish I still had it really - it was a belter.

Next year we will sell both cars and get a Nissan Qashqai - 1.5 diesel for about 9K fully loaded.

I had a 1964 dodge 440 that was "the dogs danglies" as you might say. and yes I am the aforementioned individual whom only owns a bike, because I traded away my car for my RF600R. My bike is my only mode of transportation. as for the rain I will be out in it tonight!

here is the sacrificial vehicle:

Hardcore biker me... :D

No Car, never had one, no wish for one in future.

Try to run the bike all year round, but for those icy and snowy times have a mountain bike and an electric pedal assist bike.

Do I like getting wet? yer-'avin-a-larf...... as if we have a choice with the weather on this island. :(

I'll go and bite that kitten's head off now...

I dont have a car,

I had the choice of getting driving lessons but would rather spend the money on my bike, cant say i enjoy getting cold and wet but its just one of them things you get used to it. I ride day in day out no matter what the weather even in the snow if i really have to.

Will get a car but at the min practicality doesnt call for it.......yet lol.

Will need to soon though, although if i get the missus to get a car then i can keep my biek cuz i'll have to get to work wont I hehehehe

Drive a Xedos 2.0, nice car, underestimated like the RF.
Still working on the second car, a 32 year old SLC280 but that one is using almost all my spare time. If at least the whole world could be japanese, I had to repair less.....

We have a peugeot 307 estate. 1.9TD in red.

Why ? cos we need space to transport the dog & since he sits barking until we get upto 60mph the further away the noise the better.

Oh. And its one of the few cars that fits both myself & wife-to-be Annie.
Im 6 foot tall, size 12 feet. She is 4ft 9 inches size 3 feet.

Was fun finding a car that we could both drive. :D
