slap a bt014 on the front of you have a bt020 on the rear. I did that on my bandit and it handled a damn sight better. front felt very planted. I got my front supplied and fitted for £89 by a member of the SOC, he doesn't seem to be on there much though.

Can you still get BT020's ? I thought they'd been replaced by the BTO21's?

I'd agree with Sketch - a BT014 on the front may well improve grip/handling.

I may however be slightly biased as my feelings about the BT021's (especially the front) have been well documented - I'm not exactly a huge fan shall we say

After spending the other weekend pootling about on a B1250 fitted with 021's I can tell you I wouldnt buy them if it meant running on my rims..

They felt like it was riding on marbles.. very little feedback and nothing to endear them to me at all..

I'll stick with my Storm ST's, incredible tyre for excellent money.

Yep, Avon Storm ST 73w's.

Fantastic tyre.

Edited to add:

The VFR comes with them as standard so there is a special version for it, they are much dearer for some stupid reason so make sure you get quoted for the standard tyre, not the VFR verson.
