Every cloud has a silver lining as they say. Just a pity that the RF6 won't start.

Tony, As an option I have a full 900 ignition system here.. From Sketch's bike.

Provided the ignition timing is similar it may work just to point the fault out, then again it may not but I suppose its worth a try.

Everything points to either the ECU or the signal generators. So strange that you get an odd spark then nothing.

Can't have got a duff set of plugs......

Its like my GS1000. Believed it was a carb fault with No1 carb so kept on removing and checking them. Turned out to be a faulty plug cap. Changed the cap and away she went.

i have just noticed,

part number of the ecu of my bike - 32900-21e00

part number of the one from the breakers yard is 32900-21e30.

i thought this was a 900 ecu, foundry website does not find the part number.

any clues?

Robinsons don't give that as an invalid part number.
