who are more knowledgable than me in these matters

Q1 can i use a union on my clutch line
Q2 can i use a brake line union

as im saving up for scarborough and need to move the clutch line as its stopping full lock .
B4 you all say move it round the yolk like it should be i have raised bars and it only just reaches

Don't see why not, if it's just the straight through connector your talking about.

yes its a straight through connection im using goodrich hose top and a peice of my brake line at the bottom or i may have bike brake top line connecting to the goodrich

my line at the moment comes out the frame and straight to the clutch resovior and not through the yolk like it should
how high are your bars task ? as mine are mk1 1200 bandit at the moment im toying with one of the renthal sets i have but 845mm is a bit too long

My standard hose was 'snug' when I fitted the straights but the replacement HEL hose was a bit longer.

There's no reason you can't use the front brake junction box in the clutch line as long as it's leak proof. You'll need two short banjo bolts natch as there'll only be one hose each side.

thanks all
yes Roy i have loads of single banjos and washers the line was leak proof when i took it off a 1978 gs750
its been in my yard ever since i thought its going to come in useful sometime and it has ..
i will tighten up in the vice then use nice clean dot4 as mine is black / noir at the moment .

Thanks for the help it saves me a walk to pirtec 90yards down the road .
im sometimes glad i live on an industrial estate oh by the way the line was an estimate at £25 for the longer clutch line
