I don't know if they make a specific one for the RF6. Would have to look it up on there online catalogue.

What benefit would you get from a SV front end upgrade? Its the same style as an RF.

The sv front end is the same style but its fully adjustable like the later rf9. have you also looked into progressive springs pikey? also the bandit 1200 swingarm is a straight swap (or so i have been informed) and i know you can run a busa shock on the bandit arms....so putting two and two together you should be able to run a busa shock on the rf6 and this is a much better shock at a fraction of the price...ohlins will set you back between £300-£500 as its the dogs bollox!

Using a bandit 1200 swinging arm will mean you've got to run a bandit 1200 rear wheel plus spacers.

Ohlins still supply shocks for bandit 1200.

I want the sv front end because its modern and fully adjustable, and apparently I could run the gsxr 1000 brakes on that. what year bandit has the swinger that will drop right in? and if the busa shock will fit the bandit swingarm, will the top of it fit the rf?

hey mate, pre-k bandit 1200 swingarm is what you want and by pre k i mean up to 1999. as for the busa shock, im not 100% it will fit the top but i cant see it not fitting if the bandit arm is a straight swap and the shock lines up in theory it should line up the same.....BUT this is a theory  the only way to find out is to give it a go mate. :P

seriously. thank you all very much. you have all been very helpful. the only question I have left is what year sv forks? and we are only talking about the fork tubes themselves right? not the complete front end? Just to be clear before I start collecting parts! lol

hey mate, i would go for the sv1000 2003+ i dont know what would fit etc you would have to do some research into the diameter and length of the forks, part numbers for the wheel bearings to see if your axle/spindle will fit etc
