It appears that factory pro only sells the ignition advancer for the RF900. Not the 600.

Thanks a bunch! That answered a great many questions for me! Now I just need to make sure the bike hasnt already had any of that stuff done, for the most part it doesnt really seem worthwhile to do most of that stuff because the gains are pretty insignificant.

definatly mate, if you look at it from a money point of view its really not worth it. dynojet kit + dyno time to get it set up is going to be best part of £300 + the price of k&n etc and the insurance thats goes with a performance modified bike you may aswell just buy the 900 and have more power standard than a 600 tuned.......

i have blown a few grand on my bandit that i wish i had saved and just bought the 1200 lump and turbo'd it. the amount i have spent on dyno this and k&n that i could have turbo'd and insured it!!!! lesson learned hahaha

OK, my next line of questioning concerns the suspension. How is the suspension out of the box? what other bikes can I borrow front ends from? Can I just exchange fork tubes or do I need to retrofit the entire front end, Triple clamp and all? and if so do I have to modify the neck of the frame to make the bearings and front end work? suspension is more important to me than horsepower. you can have all the ponies on earth, but if you dont have the suspension and brakes to use 'em then it doesnt matter!

it depends how much hassle you want mate. if you like alot of hassel you can missmatch parts etc but its alot easy'r just to chuck a complete front end into it...all you have to do is change the stem to the rf one in order for it to fit. as for rear suspension on the rf im not familiar with the bike but you can allways search companys like nitron, ohlins etc but this option is not cheap. i belive there is a suspension thread in this section so have a browse of that and see what you think
